Theme

This photographic exhibition explores the history, geography and demography of the Devonport community; the components that contribute to its distinct identity. It celebrates the people who have worked to build this community and draws to attention that meaningful communities don’t just happen, but are made and evolve through continuous participation.

Featuring a publication and iconic portrait series from Lia Kent Mackillop, landscape images from local photographer Kevin Hill, and a community-focused installation based on audience participation.
